Bye, Daddy!

We saw David off at the San Diego airport this morning. He's headed for Pensacola, Florida for a Navy school for 19 days. He'll be home the first weekend of May, then he's off to the boat until late July.

On February 17th, 2007 we dedicated Naomi Joy to the Lord at our church, Canyon View Christian Fellowship.











Melody's parents and many of our dear friends stood with us in support, including: Eldon and Meri Horn, Bill Ross, Cheryl Lundgren, Aimee Pearson, JoJo Olson-Thompson, Freya Verkaaik, Richard and Barbara Chenault, Traci Brooks, Jennifer Kuyper, Carol and Jorg Rogers, and many others. We are SO blessed to have so many critically-important people who love us and help us in this journey of parenting, marriage, and life in general.




Isn't Samantha beautiful? And Zachariah was the co-star of the show! Here he is holding Naomi; she's looking up at Mike Quinn, our pastor, who is getting ready to annoint her with oil and pray. Afterward, Zachariah took her back and walked off the stage with her; he nearly fell down the stairs! After the corporate gasp from the audience, the fire alarm went off in the sanctuary! Just a glimpse into my life as a mom of three small children...
